Meet the Juror
Kathleen Robbins
Robbins earned a BA in Studio Art from Millsaps College and an MFA in Photography from the University of New Mexico. She resides in Columbia, SC, where she is professor of art, coordinator of the photography program and affiliate faculty of southern studies at the University of South Carolina.
Robbins' work has been featured by CNN Photo Blog, Flak Photo, Fraction Magazine, Conscientious, Humble Arts New York, NPR’s Picture Show, and PDN’s Photo of the Day. Her work has been printed in the New York Times, Oxford American, and Garden and Gun.
She was part of the 2012 Critical Mass top 50 and recipient of the 2011 PhotoNOLA Review Prize for her project Into the Flatland, which was published as a monograph in 2015.
